Morning Worship
Welcome Chaplain Charles Marks
*Call to Worship
Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord, our God, you are very great.
You are clothed with honor and majesty, wrapped in light as with a garment.
You stretch out the heavens like a tent. You make the clouds your chariot.
You ride on the wings of the wind. You make the wind your messengers,
fire and flame your ministers. You set the earth on its foundations,
so that it will never be shaken. You cover it with the deep as with a garment.
O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all.
Bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise the Lord!
Come, let us worship God!

Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession
Creator God, you have made yourself known in all your creation and in your Word, Jesus Christ. Even so, we comprehend so little. Forgive us our stubborn refusal to see and to embrace your love. Standing in awe of you and of your great love for us, we come before you, silently confessing our sins against you and your creation:
A time for silent confession.
Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
This is the good news of the gospel: God, who created us, loves us and forgives us. Give thanks to God: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Amen.
*Passing of the Peace
As God has given us peace through Christ, let us share the peace of Christ with each other. The peace of Christ be with you.
And also with you.

The Great Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you,
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts,
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.
.....We forever sing to the glory of your name:
...great is the mystery of faith:
....through your Son who taught us to pray:
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for yours is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen
