Dr. Daniel Hoggatt is presently the Church Music professor at San Francisco Theological Seminary, the Seminary Organist and the Conductor of the 50-voice Seminary Singers. He shares responsibility for SFTS chapel services (4 each week) with Rev. Dr. Charles Marks, the Seminary Chaplain. Dr. Hoggatt has 34 years of experience as a church musician and most recently is presently the Organist Choirmaster at The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in Mill Valley, California. Daniel Hoggatt was also the conductor of the critically acclaimed San Jose Symphony Chorus and Midsummer Mozart Chorus and has toured internationally as a conductor, singer and organist. Dr. Hoggatt received the Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance and Church Music from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon; a Masters degree in Voice and Conducting from San Jose State University; and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado. He has held teaching positions at Clackamas Community College, the University of Colorado, California State University Stanislaus, and San Jose State University.
